There wasn’t any big event that changed my mind or convinced me in any way.. I just think it’s how I am. Never had the need for anything “extra”. It’s simple.. smoking looks and smells gross.. drinking smells gross and makes people act kinda weird sometimes. I just prefer keeping a clear signal at all times. I think its my responsibility to use my brain to it’s fullest, real potential.
Amazing how “regular people” think it’s absolutely absurd that I don’t use any substances. It knocks people off of their feet sometimes to hear that a dude in a band stays sober. To me, I think it’s wild that it’s the norm to put something in your body to alter your perception and attitude. Sci-Fi, really. Do what you want, just think of your family and friends.
